Student Support Manager

- Remuneration: $161,241 to $168,919 pa (HEW9) (inclusive of $136,251 to $142,738 salary pa, 17% superannuation and 17.5% recreation leave loading)
- Location: Gardens Point (hybrid option available)

Who are we looking for?
We are seeking a Student Support Manager to join Office of the Deputy Dean, Faculty of Science.
The Student Support Manager undertakes a leadership role in coordinating the provision of student services and administrative support for the Faculty’s academic programs. Specifically, the Manager will ensure that the Faculty’s student support, external professional accreditation and scheduling and planning functions deliver high-quality services to staff and students across the Faculty. This will be accomplished by providing strategic advice to the Deputy Dean and Associate Dean (Learning and Teaching), managing staff, and coordinating resources to achieve objectives.

What you need to succeed
1. Education, training and/or relevant experience equivalent to completion of postgraduate qualifications and extensive relevant experience.
2. Proven ability to lead and supervise cross-functional teams, ensuring consistent, effective customer service.
3. Demonstrated capability to lead staff through change, generate new ideas, evaluate systems and processes, and develop strategies and plans aligned with faculty goals.
4. Highly developed ability to communicate and build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
5. Excellent organisational skills, with demonstrated ability to work under pressure.
6. Demonstrated knowledge of and experience in using University information systems and an understanding of the principles of business process analysis and systems development.
