"Student Worker - Esports Steamer and/or Caster"

Job Summary

To assist the Dean's office and Esports program with office duties.

Principal Accountabilities

• Assist with daily operations of Dean's office and Esports Arena.
• Assist with maintaining organization of Esports Arena.
• Assist with filing, making copies, and processing of paperwork.
• Keep track of supplies.
• Assist with computer applications.
• Observe appropriate dress codes.
• Possess and demonstrates excellent telephone etiquette and provides superior customer service.
• Assist the department with student, staff/faculty, and community events.
• Report damage or theft to the supervisor immediately.
• Serve as a communication liaison between students and Esports staff.
• Maintain acceptable work standards.
• Effectively address questions or problems presented, or make appropriate referral.
• Respect confidentiality.
• Be friendly, cooperative, and appreciative to other personnel.
• Act professionally and as a Esports representative.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with other employees and the public.
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications/ Required Degree, License or Certifications

• Must be federal work study eligible.
• Must be at least a half time student.

Minimum Competencies

• Must be willing to learn and train effectively and efficiently within a team oriented environment.
• Customer service experience

Preferred Qualifications

Esports program student, Engineering, Computer Science or Information Technology majors

Special Notes To Applicants

10 to 19 hours per week, depending on work-study approval. Day or/and night, flexible
Must be able to lift and/or carry 50 lbs.
Must have a great attitude and willing to be flexible with hours of operation.
No current or pending disciplinary sanctions.
