Job Summary
The University of North Georgia is currently accepting applications for a Temporary Summer Honors Lead Counselor. This position will work as honors camp Lead Counselor, which includes working with Director and Vice President, mentoring and coaching the Pine Valley Lead Counselor and Counselors, plan and lead leadership training and academic mentoring, coordinate all schedules, and lead other camp counselor duties.
Responsibilities
- Planning and facilitating leadership training at Pine Valley.
- Planning and leading climbing guides at Mt. Yonah.
- Coordinating counselor duties: scheduling staff events.
- Coordinate and facilitate academic mentoring of counselors and campers.
- Coordinating schedules and events with Director and Assistant Director.
- Other duties, errands and tasks as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High School Graduate.
- One year as Summer Honors counselor or assistant counselor.
