Supervisor, Finance & Accounting (ACC Foundation)
Job Description Summary
Oversees the financial and accounting operations of the Austin Community College Foundation and Office of Sponsored Projects, including budgeting, reporting, reconciliations, compliance, audit coordination, and financial forecasting. Supervises assigned staff and ensures accurate, efficient, and service-oriented financial processes in support of Foundation and institutional goals.
Description of Duties and Tasks
- Supervises the day-to-day financial and accounting operations for the Austin Community College Foundation and Office of Sponsored Projects.
- Provides guidance, training, performance feedback, and coaching to assigned staff.
- Manages and reconciles Foundation financial activities, including income and expenditure accounts, bank statements, scholarship and endowment funds.
- Produces and analyzes monthly, quarterly, and annual financial, fundraising, endowment, scholarship, and tax reports.
- Coordinates financial compliance and audit activities, including annual audits, IRS Form 990 reporting.
