JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

Penn State Altoona invites applications for a part-time instructor in Engineering for the Fall 2024 Semester, to start on August 26, 2024.

Job Duties

• The successful candidate will teach the cornerstone engineering design course EDSGN 100, Cornerstone Engineering Design. The course introduces the engineering design process, methods, and decision-making tools while engaging students in team-based design projects.
• Effective use of communication skills and computer-aided analysis tools are an integral part of the cornerstone engineering design course.

Requirements and Qualifications

• A master’s degree or equivalent experience/qualifications in Engineering is required.
• Previous college-level teaching experience is preferred.
