Adjunct Instructor - Criminal Justice
Primary Area of Interest: The ideal applicant is a current or former criminal justice professional with teaching experience preferred. Candidates must exhibit an understanding of the key concepts, functions, and theoretical constructs within the field of criminal justice. The candidate must also illustrate foundational legal knowledge, comprehend criminal justice policy application and its impact on social problems, and have a strong understanding of current crime trends and the strategies to address them.
Degree: Master's
Degree Area: Criminal Justice or related field
Location: Bellevue Main.
Primary Functions:
> Teach assigned in-class Criminal Justice courses during the Fall, Winter, and Spring terms.
Criminal Justice courses are generally offered on Tuesday/Thursday and Monday/Wednesday mornings.
> Focus on student-centered learning with high student engagement through lectures and class discussions.
> Provide constructive feedback on assignments and exams.
> Respond to student questions/issues within established University timelines.
> Applicants should be able to demonstrate developed teaching skills along with a strong evaluation record.
