Job Description:

The Siena College Philosophy Department invites applications for a visiting faculty position for the 2024-2025 academic year, from September 1, 2024 to June 30, 2025.

Candidates should have a commitment to innovative teaching in a liberal arts college setting and to contributing to the intellectual life of the college. Salary and benefits are extremely competitive. The teaching load is 4 classes per semester, but with only two preps per semester.

Annual Salary: $60,000.00 - Instructor, $77,410.00 - Assistant Professor

Requirements:

AOS: Open. AOC: Open. Ph.D. preferred.

Applicants should submit a cover letter, curriculum vitae, teaching and research portfolios, and three letters of recommendation. We also ask applicants to submit a one-page statement on the role that diversity and inclusiveness play in their teaching and course design.
