Technician A
Position Summary
- Collecting demographic and laboratory data
- Participating in consenting patients
- Participating in digital pathology annotations and organizing transcriptomic analyses
Responsibilities
- 30%: Research collecting data, recordkeeping and file maintenance
- 10%: Maintaining and organizing lab notebook or records related to task
- 25%: Perform simple experiments including ELISA and annotating digitally scanned images
- 20%: Perform simple preliminary statistics to guide the experiments
- 15%: Consenting patients to be enrolled in study
- Other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- Two years of college or a completed A.A. program with an emphasis in chemistry, biology, physics or related field or a completed animal husbandry program
- One year of related experience, or equivalent in education, training and experience
Preferred Qualifications
- Complement of 4 years college
- Expertise in R program in statistics
- Previous research experience as a research assistant in a laboratory
- Experience working with patients (specifically in consenting patients)
- Expertise in Microsoft office (specifically excel)
