Temporary Admissions Counselor - 3 months
Job Summary/Basic Function
The Temporary Admissions Counselor will provide outreach and support to high school students at all phases of the recruitment cycle including prospects, inquiries, applicants, admits, and deposited students.

Required Qualifications:
- 1 year of experience in college admissions.
- Demonstrated experience recruiting prospective high school students.
- Familiarity with BANNER/Slate or other higher education student information systems/CRM tools.
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and exhibit initiative and self-motivation.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and demonstrate a high level of customer service.
- Excellent oral, written, interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.
- Ability to work/travel evenings and weekends as needed.
- Commitment to inclusive practices and working with diverse student populations.
- Valid driver's license.
- Successful interview.
- Successful completion of three background checks.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree.
- Event planning experience.
- Evidence of public speaking experience.
Special Instructions to Applicants:
This position is represented by a labor union and is subject to the terms and conditions of the SCUPA Collective Bargaining Agreement. Ability to work on campus. Valid driver's license.
