Essential Job Duties: The DRIVES Agroecology Research Scholar will work under the supervision of the Agroecology Professor to support the growth of the Agroecology Lab’s research program about the impacts of crop diversification. Key responsibilities will include organizing and maintaining the Diverse Rotation Improve Valuable Ecosystem Services (DRIVES) database (drives-network.org) and conducting synthesis research on the role of crop diversification on the delivery of ecosystem services across a range of growing conditions.

Work Schedule: 40/hrs per week, Monday-Friday
Minimum Experience/Education: PhD in Agriculture, Soil Science, Ecology or a related field
Department Required Skills: Mastery in R, Familiarity with Python or other coding languages or statistical programs, Expertise with addressing spatiotemporal elements of research questions related to crop and soil sciences, Experience working with large agronomic datasets, Experience working with networks of long-term datasets
Anticipated Hiring Range: $36.05/hr-$40/hr
