Job Summary
Cal State Fullerton seeks individuals interested in temporary appointments, which range from a duration of several days to a maximum of 180 days within various departments. The Temporary Pool is established for current and future vacancies to replace an employee on a leave of absence or to provide support during a recruitment process subsequent to an employee's resignation.
Examples of typical positions include but are not limited to: Accountant, Accounting Technician, Administrative Support Assistant/Coordinator, Administrative Analyst, Custodian, Groundsworker, Laborer, Mail Clerk, Payroll Technician, Public Affairs/Communication Specialist, Student Services Professional.
Essential Qualifications
Specific qualifications may vary according to the requirements of the position. A background check (including a criminal records check) must be completed satisfactorily and is required for employment.
Salary and Appointment
Salary Range: $21.23 - $43.20 per hour (Depending on the job classification and qualifications of the successful finalist). Appointments are Temporary (Quick Hire), with time base and work schedule varying according to department needs. Appointments may be eligible for health insurance through the Affordable Care Act.
