"Tenure Track Full-time Assistant Professor, Theology – Department of Theology"

The Department of Theology at Duquesne University invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track Assistant Professor position starting in August 2026.

The ideal candidate will focus on Inter-Religious Studies/Theology of Religions/Comparative Religion and must have completed a Doctoral Degree in at least one of those fields. A secondary proficiency in ethics is also preferred but not required. Duquesne is dedicated to the teacher-scholar model, expecting excellence in both teaching and research. The teaching responsibilities will include courses at the undergraduate, M.A., and Ph.D. levels, with a workload of three courses each semester. A competitive salary and benefits package are offered.
