The School of Architecture at the Georgia Institute of Technology in Atlanta, Georgia invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position in Architecture. Applicants will be considered at all ranks. Thomas W. Ventulett III Distinguished Chair in Architectural Design. Candidates are expected to demonstrate an exceptional commitment to the teaching and mentoring of students.
The Thomas Ventulett Distinguished Chair in Architectural Design offers a unique platform to lead by example, advance critical disciplinary discourse, and explore how design innovation can catalyze progressive social change. The Ventulett Chair embraces the redesign of design practice, foregrounding creative collaboration among diverse stakeholders within an expanding field of interdisciplinary concerns. Through the appointment of the next Ventulett Chair, the School seeks to amplify the inherently collaborative nature of practice and to bolster the role of the architect as an agent of progressive change.
This appointment is a non-tenured Professor of Practice in the School of Architecture. The terms of residency and the length of the appointment, which range from three to five years, are negotiable.
This appointment is scheduled to begin in Fall 2026, with an anticipated start date of August 1, 2026.
