Description

The Yale Cancer Center and the Section of Medical Oncology invite applications from board-certified/board eligible medical oncologists for a position in Thoracic Medical Oncology. The incumbent should have a demonstrated academic record consistent with the level of Assistant Professor or Associate Professor at Yale School of Medicine. We are specifically looking for candidates with interest and experience in the development of clinical trials and novel therapies for thoracic cancers in addition to clinical expertise.

The Yale Cancer Center and Smilow Cancer Hospital’s thoracic oncology program stands as a leader in the treatment and research of thoracic malignancies. Medical oncologists within the program are recognized nationally for their work on advancing therapies, such as immunotherapy and targeted therapies, including recent FDA-approved treatments stemming from research at Yale. There is ample opportunity for collaboration with cancer researchers throughout the medical school and university.

Dr. Sarah Goldberg, Co-Director of the Center for Thoracic Cancers and Chief of Thoracic Oncology at Yale, will lead this search.
