Florida International University (FIU), a vibrant and thriving public research university in Miami, Florida, invites inquiries, nominations, and applications for its Title IX coordinator and director of the Office of Civil Rights Compliance and Accessibility. This is an on-site leadership role.

Reporting to the assistant vice president for human resources, the Title IX coordinator and director of the office of civil rights compliance and accessibility (Title IX coordinator/director CRC) is responsible for strategic leadership of institutional efforts toward civil rights compliance, access, awareness, education, and response. They will oversee university compliance pursuant to Title VI, Title VII, and Title IX, as well as the Americans with Disabilities Act/Section 504 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973 (ADA).
The new leader will direct the efforts of the office of civil rights compliance at a large public metropolitan university serving a distinctly diverse student body.
The salary range for this position is $120,000-$130,000.
Qualifications
A bachelor's degree in a related field and eight years of relevant experience, including experience in a management role, or a master's degree and six years of professional relevant experience, including management experience.
The ideal candidate has direct experience in Title IX and civil rights compliance within higher education or K-12 education. They demonstrate a commitment to staying informed on relevant federal and state laws.
