Transfer Credit and Admissions Operations Analyst
The Transfer Credit and Admissions Operations Analyst is responsible for executing transfer credit articulation and admissions processing functions, ensuring timely application evaluations and accurate evaluation of transfer credit, maintaining compliance with UNC System policies, and supporting admissions operations. This position operates under the guidance of the Administrative Support Supervisor in the Office of Undergraduate Admissions. The analyst ensures adherence to statewide policies and mandates while supporting articulation agreements and degree planning processes. Additionally, this role evaluates students’ academic credentials and makes admissions recommendations based on UNC System criteria, maintaining applicant records and processing applications received from various electronic sources. The position requires expertise in transfer articulation, student information systems, and admissions data processing, along with strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
Minimum Qualifications
BACHELOR’S DEGREE; OR EQUIVALENT COMBINATION OF TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE. ALL DEGREES MUST BE RECEIVED FROM APPROPRIATELY ACCREDITED INSTITUTIONS.
Preferred Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications: High School diploma and one year of related experience in admission, transfer, or student services within a college setting. Excellent organizational, analytical, planning and data entry skills. Preferred Qualifications: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution and/or one year of related experience in admissions, transfer, or student services within a college setting, student information systems, preferably Ellucian Banner, degree audit tracking, and MS Office Suite software are a plus.
