"Translation Adjunct Lecturer"

The Department of Languages, Cultures & Applied Linguistics at Carnegie Mellon University seeks applications for a part-time adjunct lecturer position to teach one course, Translation as a Profession I, in the Global Communication and Applied Translation MA program during the Fall 2026 semester. The course will be conducted in English.

Candidates must have multilingual and have Master’s degree or beyond in linguistics, language and culture studies, translation, or related a field. Demonstrated professional expertise in translation, localization, AI-enhanced and human translation and editing, project management, and business developers. Experience in teaching translation and intercultural communications in a professional or academic setting is required.
