Job Summary
This is a temporary part-time non-exempt position that reports to the Upward Bound {Thomaston} Director. Applicants will provide individual and small group tutoring to students in the Tutorial lab/classroom. Assist students in improving academic achievement by meeting with them on a regular basis to clarify learning problems and work on study skills. Other assistance might include: reviewing class material, predicting test questions, and working on solutions to problems. Tutoring is a supplement to classroom teaching.
Required Qualifications
Education: Associate degree or 15 semester hours of college-level credit,
Experience: Tutoring and teaching experience with high school level students
(OR) Combination of education and experience to include Bachelor's degree in related area
