The Role

As the Vendor Management Officer, you will support Digital Technology Solutions (DTS) with a wide range of purchasing and vendor-related activities. Working closely with the Strategic Procurement team in Financial Services, you will help ensure our technology purchasing is efficient, compliant and aligned with the University’s procurement objectives.

In this role you will:

  • Coordinate quotations, proposal processes, requisitions and purchase orders
  • Provide guidance on purchasing compliance and processes
  • Support vendor performance activities
  • Contribute to reporting requirements and contract monitoring to support effective decision-making
  • Assist with software and hardware budgeting and tracking expenditures

This full-time position is a permanent role at a HEW 6 located at Callaghan Campus (Awabakal Land).

  • Demonstrated experience in the procurement of IT goods and services, administering contracts and financial monitoring activities.
  • Experience with managing purchase requisitions and orders within a finance system.
  • High level organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage several tasks simultaneously to meet competing deadlines, operating effectively under pressure.
  • Demonstrated experience in the delivery of exceptional customer service outcomes in a complex environment.
