Visiting Faculty - Nursing
Job Description Summary
The Oakland University School of Nursing is seeking applications for one or more full-time visiting instructor positions to begin the 2025-2026 academic year. Applicants will be expected to teach undergraduate and/or graduate courses dependent on their qualifications. Candidates will have completed a master's or doctorate (Ph.D., DNP, DNSc, etc.) from an accredited university. A background or teaching experience in medical-surgical, fundamentals, obstetrics, pediatrics, forensics, and/or mental health is desirable, but all qualified applicants will be considered. Teaching experience is desirable. Candidates must be able to demonstrate exceptional written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills as well as provide evidence of community/service engagement.
Minimum Qualifications
Candidates will have completed a master's in nursing or a doctorate (Ph.D., DNP, DNSc, etc.) from an accredited university. Applicants must have an active Michigan RN License.
