Volunteer Services Program Assistant
Responsibilities:
- Serve as a back-up to the reception area by answering phones, triaging patient staff and community requests and assisting with walk-in inquiries. Assist with training and delegating patient requests to office volunteers. Assist with order supplies and maintaining department supply.
- Assist in maintaining flow of paperwork and insure files are complete for each volunteer according to TJC, HIPAA, Infection Control, Accident and Liability and Occupational Health standards
- Assist with collecting and maintaining data for statistical reports
- Entering volunteer data in the volunteer data base and printing reports as needed
- Maintain and organize all work spaces in Volunteer Office especially in the storage area and front reception area
- Assist with special projects and events
For roles covered by a bargaining unit agreement, there will be specific rules about where a new hire would be placed on the range.
