Women's and Gender Studies Adjunct Instructor
The Women's and Gender Studies Department at Providence College is seeking an adjunct to teach two sections of Introduction to Women's and Gender Studies (WGS 101) which meet twice weekly, on Tuesdays and Thursdays, at 11:30 AM-12:45 PM, and 2:30-3:45 PM, respectively.
Sections are capped at 20 students. The Adjunct Instructor salary is $4,674 per course. This is contingent upon sufficient enrollment of eight students in each course, or the stipend will be pro-rated at a rate of $550 per student. (Currently both sections are at full enrollment).
Responsibilities: Teach two sections of Introduction to Women's and Gender Studies (WGS 101) which meet twice weekly, on Tuesdays and Thursdays, at 11:30 AM-12:45 PM, and 2:30-3:45 PM, respectively.
Qualifications: Applicants should have Master's Degrees, be advanced PhD students, or have PhD's in hand, in Women's and Gender Studies, or related fields, wherein the course-work and/or research centers women and gender.
