Workers' Compensation Return to Work Analyst
Please note: This role requires 5 days onsite, location is in San Francisco.
The Workers' Compensation Return to Work Analyst, reports to the Manager of Workers' Compensation and Ergonomics. This position is responsible for coordinating all aspects of the transitional work and case management program, as it applies to UCSF Health Workers' Compensation. In addition, has the authority to make decisions necessary to mitigate loss work days and implement process improvement plans.
The analyst facilitates return-to-work efforts by effectively communicating with employees, departments, medical providers and external partners (such as the third-party administrator). This position supports the Health System by providing resources and training to managers and employees regarding Workers' Compensation benefits and processes.
This role works closely and collaboratively with Occupational Health Services, Ergonomics, Disability Management Services, HR Leaves of Absence, department leaders and other applicable parties to facilitate the return-to-work process. The Workers' Compensation Analyst/ Return to Work Program Coordinator position assists in upholding compliance standards with state and federal laws and university policies. This position serves as the back up to the Workers' Comp/Ergonomics Analyst 2 position and department manager as necessary
The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy.
Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union, placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement.
The salary range for this position is $69,700 - $149,900 (Annual Rate).
