Zhou lab postdoc Ad at LSUHS
The laboratory of Dr. Jiliang Zhou at LSU Health Shreveport is seeking highly motivated postdoctoral fellows to study smooth muscle biology. The lab’s current research focuses on the role of the Hippo-YAP-TEAD signaling pathway (Circ Res, 2014 and 2019; Cell Death & Differentiation, 2019 and 2021; PNAS, 2021) and non-coding RNAs (PNAS, 2018; Circulation, 2021; Gastroenterology, 2023) in smooth muscle cells.
Qualified candidates should have earned a Ph.D. in biomedical sciences within the past two years (or be awarded the degree before starting the position) and have first-author publications in international peer-reviewed journals. Experience with bioinformatics and single-cell omics is highly desirable.
The position offers a starting salary of $62,232. The lab has a strong record of trainee success, with former members receiving K99 awards and establishing independent research careers.
