"2026 GLAM Postdoctoral Fellowship"

The 2026 GLAM Postdoctoral Fellowship Program is now open to receive applications. This annual program recruits young and promising scientists to work in the Geballe Laboratory for Advanced Materials (GLAM) at Stanford University. New Fellows are competitively selected each year to achieve GLAM’s strategic goals of interdisciplinary research collaboration and innovation.

The appointment includes two years of support with an initial annual salary of $80,000 and benefits, with $5,000 per annum in discretionary funds to cover research and/or travel expenses. The competition is open to all researchers within the materials science field, including to both theorists and experimentalists.

Candidates must submit a curriculum vitae including a full publication list, and a two-page research statement that details proposed research and possible collaborations within GLAM. Candidates must also identify one or more host faculty within GLAM, with whom they have discussed their proposed research, and who must submit a nomination letter on their behalf; GLAM faculty should only nominate one applicant per competition year. Candidates should also submit two non-GLAM letters of reference.
