The Department of Chemistry invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor in all areas of chemistry, with an emphasis on analytical, materials, or organic chemistry.

Successful candidates are expected to establish and sustain a vibrant research program; serve as dedicated teachers and mentors to our increasingly diverse students at both the undergraduate and graduate levels; and assist in the administrative and governance functions of the department, the university and the profession via service on committees as appropriate. Applicants must have a promising research agenda, and a commitment to graduate and undergraduate student education and success. A Ph.D. in chemistry or a related field is required. The budgeted salary range is $99,000-103,000 for assistant professors on a 9-month service basis.
