About the Role

Swinburne University is seeking an experienced Academic Operations Coordinator who will provide expert course, administrative and operational support to ensure the smooth delivery of Swinburne’s courses globally through its Transnational Education (TNE) partnerships.

The successful candidate will work closely with a broad range of stakeholders, including academic and support staff at TNE partner institutions, Swinburne academics as well as the student administration team, to deliver Swinburne’s commitment to Ad Astra 2030, making the world our campus.

The candidate will provide authoritative advice on University policies and procedures, particularly around quality assurance to ensure that students across Swinburne’s partner network enjoy a high-quality educational experience.

About You

To be suitable for this role you will need to have experience in the below key accountabilities:

• High-level interpersonal, cross-cultural and communication skills, with ability in developing and maintaining effective working relationships with all staff and external stakeholders to identify specific needs, issues, trends, and work closely with them to develop streamlined, quality and consistent processes and systems.
• Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail, and demonstrated ability to manage a demanding workload.
• Committed to resolving queries and problems accurately and in a timely manner ensuring provision of quality customer service.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver client-focused service that is consistent with University policy whilst considering stakeholder needs.
• In-depth understanding of course structures and requirements.

Qualifications

A degree level qualification in a relevant discipline with subsequent relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of relevant experience and/or education/training.
