Accountant 1, Capital Finance, Hybrid
Job Overview
The Accountant 1 will be responsible for performing accounting and administrative duties relating to the various capital/renovation projects managed by the university.
This is a hybrid position.
Essential Functions
- Prepare and post accounting entries
- Perform project analysis and reconciliation between the project management system and the university’s financial system
- Monthly reporting
- Purchase requisition processing
- Invoice processing
- Change order processing
- Problem resolution with both internal customers and external vendors
- Other duties as assigned
Required Education
- Bachelor’s Degree must be in Accounting or related field.
- Four (4) years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement.
Additional Qualifications Considered
- Fund accounting experience
- SAP financial software experience
- Procore project management software experience
- Intermediate user of Microsoft products

Salary/Hourly Pay Rate Information: $48,000
