Job Overview

The Accountant 1 will be responsible for performing accounting and administrative duties relating to the various capital/renovation projects managed by the university.

This is a hybrid position.

Essential Functions

  • Prepare and post accounting entries
  • Perform project analysis and reconciliation between the project management system and the university’s financial system
  • Monthly reporting
  • Purchase requisition processing
  • Invoice processing
  • Change order processing
  • Problem resolution with both internal customers and external vendors
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Education

  • Bachelor’s Degree must be in Accounting or related field.
  • Four (4) years of relevant work experience and/or other specialized training can be used in lieu of education requirement.

Additional Qualifications Considered

  • Fund accounting experience
  • SAP financial software experience
  • Procore project management software experience
  • Intermediate user of Microsoft products

Salary/Hourly Pay Rate Information: $48,000
