- ACCT& 203 Principles of Accounting III
- ACCT 301 Intermediate Accounting I
- ACCT 302 Intermediate Accounting II
- ACCT 303 Intermediate Accounting III
- ACCT 394 Special Topics: Accounting
- ACCT 410 Cost Accounting
- ACCT 411 Auditing
- ACCT 430 Accounting Information Systems and Controls
- ACCT 450 Business Taxation
- ACCT 480 Business Analytics in Accounting
- ACCT 490 Accounting Internship/Capstone
Adjunct instructors are appointed quarter-to-quarter based on student enrollment. They teach classes on the days and in the modalities assigned by the College. Accounting classes may be scheduled for weekday mornings, evenings, or online. You may view accounting course descriptions, class schedules, and the college catalog on the College website. This is not a remote position. Applicants must reside in Washington State.

The adjunct instructor's primary function is to teach students and help them to meet their educational goals. Courses will be taught in accordance with approved course descriptions and outcomes, and with class syllabi developed by individual instructors in accordance with approved syllabus policy.
Adjunct instructors foster a professional, equitable, anti-racist, and culturally inclusive environment which is conducive to learning and demonstrate an awareness of the experiences and needs of the current student population.
The adjunct instructor's secondary function is to facilitate appropriate operational policies and procedures of Green River College.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- For 100- and 200-level accounting classes: Bachelor's degree AND Active Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license; OR Bachelor's degree in accounting or a bachelor's degree in business administration with an accounting concentration AND Certified Management Accountant (CMA) credential; OR Master's degree in accounting
- For 300- and 400-level accounting classes: Master's degree in accounting or business administration; AND Active CPA license or CMA credential
Degrees must be conferred by a regionally accredited college or university.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
CPA license, CMA credential, master's degree in accounting or business administration, two year's work experience in accounting, current experience using Excel and QuickBooks Online, successful teaching experience at the college level.
