Position Summary

The GME Accreditation Manager at the University at Buffalo Jacobs School of Medicine and Biomedical Sciences plays a critical role in ensuring compliance and excellence across more than 72 ACGME-accredited residency and fellowship programs. This position serves as the ACGME Institutional Coordinator and manages accreditation-related processes, including program director and resident complement changes, oversight of the Accreditation Data System (ADS), and coordination of institutional and program-specific site visits. The role involves strategic planning, data analysis, and collaboration with leadership, hospital partners, and program teams to maintain accreditation standards and support continuous improvement. The GME Accreditation Manager also supervises committee activities, develops educational resources, and contributes to policy and process enhancements within a dynamic, team-based environment.

Minimum Qualifications

The ideal candidate will have:

• Bachelors Degree.
• At least one year of experience in medical education.
• Demonstrated ability to produce well-written, professional communications/documents.
• Highly organized, thrives on managing multiple deadlines.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Able to exhibit a high level of confidentiality.
• Flexibility in working independently and collaboratively.
• Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience in graduate medical education.
• Experience working in MedHub and Brightspace.
• Ability to coalesce, analyze, and assimilate data.
• Completion of an educator development program, such as the Jacobs Educator Excellence Program or similar.
• Experience leading live, educational presentations.

Salary Range

$65,000 - $70,000
