Position Overview
The Department of Psychology at Rider University seeks applicants for a one year Acting Lecturer position for the 2025-2026 academic year. The position will begin on September 1, 2025.
The successful candidate will be expected to teach graduate courses in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA). The teaching load is 4:4. As part of the teaching load, the faculty member will supervise thesis and practicum experiences. Also, reviewing applications and contributing to admission decisions is part of this role. Faculty are expected to participate in departmental and college committees, maintain office hours, and work collaboratively and productively with colleagues.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Must possess a Ph.D.
- Must be a Board-Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Demonstrated ability to teach required courses
- Demonstrated ability and/or experience to meet overall and specific position responsibilities
- Satisfactory background and/or DMV checks required.
Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Doctoral level BCBA (BCBA-D)
- Candidates with prior teaching, thesis, and practicum supervision experience
- Prior experience with certification or accreditation requirements
