"Adjunct Faculty, Massage"

Pacific College of Health and Science is seeking a dynamic and passionate individual for the position of Adjunct Faculty in our Undergraduate Massage program at our New York campus. We are seeking faculty members with exceptional communication skills who have a passion for teaching and whose enthusiasm for the subject matter will be an inspiration to our students.

Position Summary:

The successful candidate will be expected to be knowledgeable in either a didactic or lab course within our model curriculum, including Eastern and Western massage and bodywork theory and practice, biomedical sciences, clinical skills, and professional practice.

Minimum/Required Qualifications:

• Associate’s degree in Complementary and/or Integrative medicine.
• New York State unencumbered Massage Therapy License.
• Experience teaching for at least 5 years.
• Live classroom-based teaching experience at an institution of higher education.

Desired Qualifications:

• Teaching experience at the undergraduate level.
• An extensive teaching resume coupled with a student-centered teaching philosophy.
• Familiarity with instructional technology.
• Familiarity with APA writing style.

Salary Expectations:

$45.00 - $55.00 per hour based on experience and qualifications.
