Job Description:
JOB SUMMARY:
The Department of Music seeks part-time instructor(s) for winter semester 2026 to teach one or more courses within the music education program: “Teaching Middle School Music” meets Mondays and Wednesdays 8:30-9:50 a.m.; “Seminar in Music Education” (a foundational course in research literature and contemporary topics) meets Mondays and Wednesdays 1:00-2:20 p.m. Both classes are in-person, on-campus.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master’s degree in music education
- Middle School or High School teaching experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience teaching college-level music education courses
