PRIMARY DUTY: The Department of Humanities and Social Sciences at Northwest Missouri State University is seeking candidates to create a pool of applicants who can serve as Adjunct Faculty in History online.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:Teach online graduate courses in American History.Collaborate with campus faculty.Perform other duties as assigned.

Experience: Prior experience in online instruction in American History Skills: Demonstrated innovative teaching methodologies to engage learners; instructional technology skills; interpersonal skills, including oral communication and collaboration; committed to a focus on student success
WORKING CONDITIONS: The position entails online instruction in graduate courses typically ranging from 10 to 25 students. Faculty maintain regular virtual office hours to support students.
EQUIPMENT/MATERIALS USED:**: Online courses are offered using Canvas, Northwest's Learning Management System.
TYPICAL PHYSICAL DEMANDS:**: Ability to meet essential pedagogical and online classroom functions.
