ABOUT THE ROLE
This position provides effective and efficient administrative support to the Executive Dean, Faculty of Medicine, Nursing & Midwifery, Health Sciences and Physiotherapy, on project management deliverables across a range of strategic academic matters, as well as working collaboratively in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive executive support to the Executive Dean, managing correspondence, emails, digital data sources, visitor, and diary schedules, and coordinating internal and external meetings and functions.
- Assist in the organisation of high-level committees and meetings, including preparing presentations, agendas, papers, and taking minutes, ensuring timely follow-up actions.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to support operational activities, contributing to the development and management of portfolio activities.
- Implement and maintain consistent systems, including document control, to ensure compliant and flexible executive support across the portfolio.
- Foster teamwork and contribute to organisational goals by completing tasks accurately and on time, promoting a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.
ABOUT YOU
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline or equivalent work experience.
- Extensive administrative experience supporting executive functions in complex organisational settings.
- Demonstrated track record in fast-paced administrative environments within a university or similar context.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly in Excel to collate data for a variety of purposes including financial tracking.
- Familiarity with academic processes in higher education institutions.
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, enabling effective relationship-building and collaboration.
