Admissions Recruitment Coordinator

Within the Office of Undergraduate Admissions at the University of Michigan - Ann Arbor, the Admissions Recruitment Coordinator is responsible for various subspecialties including Programming, Staff Development and Training, National Recruitment and Alumni Relations, Strategic Outreach, and International Recruitment Initiatives.

Programming: Planning, development, execution, and evaluation of recruitment and outreach programs to support the University's mission. Prepare and track budgets, analyze data, direct operations, coordinate with campus entities, supervise staff, and monitor enrollment trends.

Staff Development and Training: Manage training and onboarding for new recruitment team members, coordinate annual staff development, and ensure ongoing professional opportunities.

National Recruitment and Alumni Relations: Plan and execute programs, assist with out-of-state recruitment, assess participation, coordinate staff, prepare budgets, and analyze data.

Strategic Outreach: Provide support for outreach efforts, serve as a contact for partners, assist with program planning, represent the University, develop presentations, and facilitate discussions.

International Recruitment Initiatives: Plan and execute international programs, assist with travel and assessments, oversee programming, prepare budgets, and coordinate with campus entities.

Key Responsibilities: 65% - Planning, development, execution, and evaluation of programs; 15% - Building relationships with feeder schools, representing the University at events, advising students, and coordinating communications; 20% - Evaluating applications, recommending admissions actions, and serving as a liaison.

Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in a related field, two plus years of admissions and recruitment experience in higher education, experience in developing recruitment programs, meeting planning, budget management, counseling, strong communication skills, and ability to make independent decisions.
