Admissions Team Member
Compensation Range: $18.95 - $25.49
Position Summary: This part-time position will be an integral member of a small admissions team at the HCC Center for International Education (CIE).
Job Duties:
- Converts prospective students to admitted, ensures validity of applications and supporting documentation including financial affidavits/bank statements, transcripts and English language examination results; enters admitted student data into Colleague.
- Produces federal immigration documents for new (F-1 visa) students and serves as a Designated School Official (DSO) co-administering the Student and Exchange Visitor Information System (SEVIS) as required by U.S. immigration authorities.
- Ensures new students are enrolled in mandated health insurance before they are allowed to register for classes; manages check-in process to ensure compliance with SEVIS regulations; supports New Student Orientations (NSOs) and students timely tuition payments.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors degree and three years of prior-related work experience.
The position requires at least a High School diploma or GED equivalent if substituting experience for education.
