WHAT YOU'LL DO
Under the general direction of a dean, an Instructor provides comprehensive classroom instruction to students from diverse backgrounds for the purpose of facilitating the attainment of their academic or vocational objectives.
There is currently one full time, tenure-track position at Moorpark College that will begin during the Fall 2026 semester.

• Provide academic instruction to students through lecture, lab, or performance courses... E
• Advise and instruct students... E
• Observe and evaluate student performance... E
• Plan and organize instruction... E
• Maintain current, accurate records... E
• Evaluate and select instructional materials... E
• Participate in curriculum and program development... E
• Revise and update course content... E
• Attend and participate on committees...
• May provide work direction to others.
• Perform related duties as assigned.

E = Essential Duties

Minimum Qualifications

Any Bachelor's degree or higher and two years of professional experience OR any Associate's degree and six years of professional experience OR the equivalent OR possession of an appropriate California Community College Credential.
Minimum Qualifications for Faculty and Administrators in California Community Colleges handbook.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience in the care, training, and live presentations of domestic and nondomestic animals for wildlife conservation.
