Annual Giving Program Specialist
The University Annual Giving Team (UAG) in the Office of University Development (OUD), is excited to add an Annual Giving Program Specialist to the team.
Reporting to the UAG Senior Project Manager, you will help implement three annual giving plans. These are on behalf of three campus partners: the College of Pharmacy, the School of Public Health, and the Center for Education of Women+. You will consult with development leadership at each partner unit to understand their goals, and then improve their participation in the standard UAG program to achieve those results. You may also create content and manage standalone solicitation efforts for partners throughout the year. You will also meet periodically with each unit partner to update them on performance and suggest ways to enhance their annual giving yield.

- Work across existing annual giving programming / solicitations to advocate for investment in donor acquisition and retention - including education, solicitation, and stewardship.
- Manage participation in projects and select appropriate audiences to maximize the effectiveness of partner budgets and help units meet their annual giving goals.
- Monitor unit program results, market research, and other data to identify new strategic opportunities.
- Lead the development of on-demand reporting to assess the effectiveness of current and latest donor acquisition strategies, and identifying new opportunities to engage those populations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and experience
- One or more years of work experience in a professional environment with increasing levels of personal responsibility
- Proficiency with current productivity software, including creating and editing documents, managing spreadsheets (can maintain complex spreadsheets), and working with databases.
- Experience in a team environment
- Experience with project management
This is a full time, term-limited position ending after two (2) years from the hire date and is eligible for UM benefits. Before the end of the term limit, it could be considered for a term extension or for transition to an open-ended position.
This is a hybrid role requiring at least 2 days per week in office.
