Art and Art History-Assistant Professor-Ceramics/3D Design
Qualifications:
- Active studio practice with a vibrant exhibition record.
- Master of Fine Arts in Studio Art with a concentration in Ceramics or another three-dimensional art discipline.
- Demonstrated ability to teach studio art within the context of an undergraduate Christian Liberal Arts College
- Active studio practice with a vibrant exhibition record.
- Engagement with global perspectives that embrace diversity and inclusion through studio practice, teaching, or service.
- Proficiency in ceramic hand-building and wheel techniques, mold making and casting, glaze formulation, 3D design principles, material handling (e.g., clay, wire, cardboard, wood), and the use of tools and equipment related to ceramics and sculpture, including basic kiln operation and safety procedures.
- Proficiency in digital design and fabrication.
