Art-Studio Art Part-Time Instructor Pool 2025-2026

The Department of Art and Design in the College of Arts and Letters at The University of Tampa invites applications for part-time instructors in the area of Studio Art.

Responsibilities:

• Teach assigned undergraduate courses in studio art in accordance with published course descriptions and programmatic learning outcomes.
• Teach course(s) according to departmental guidelines and syllabus templates provided.
• Provide meeting time for students outside of class.
• Manage online/paperwork grading system.

The successful candidate will have:

• A minimum of an MFA Degree and at least 18 graduate credit hours in your discipline.
• College teaching experience preferred.

Additional Information:

Applications for part-time positions are accepted on a continuous basis each year and are reviewed by the department when openings become available. Once hired, successful applicants need not reapply, and all teaching assignments are on a term-by-term basis which may include fall and/or spring.
