The teaching statement (item 3) should detail the applicant’s experience and approach with teaching reading from a critical, community-engaged, and culturally sustaining perspective while also integrating rigorous instruction in specific reading strategies supported by the latest research in developmental and cognitive psychology.
Additionally, candidates must submit at least one, but no more than three, published or unpublished papers; and submit these items as separate attachments, preferably as PDF documents.

Review of applications will start October 20, 2025 and will continue until the position is filled.
Subject to the availability of funding, the position will begin September 1, 2026.
