Assistant Director-Builders Program
Description of Work:
The Assistant Director-Builders Program will help with the advancement of the mission and purpose of the Clifton Strengths Institute. The Clifton Builders Program is cohort-based and designed to identify and develop students with high entrepreneurial and leadership talent who aspire to change the world by building new businesses, teams, or communities through leadership and involvement. The Assistant Director will serve as the primary academic advisor for students in the Clifton Builders program. This position will serve as the primary instructor for the BSAD 76: Clifton Builders Practicum Experience course, and will coach this cohort of graduating students throughout the semester. The Assistant Director will be innovative in creating new programs and opportunities for students selected into the Program.
The Clifton Strengths Institute is a first-of-its-kind program promoting student development and success through helping students discover their CliftonStrengths to maximize their potential. The Institute was founded in August 2015 with the goal to help Nebraska, the nation and the world identify the next generation of high-achieving leaders, entrepreneurs, and business builders to develop economic growth and prosperity. The Clifton Strengths Institute is a model for other organizations to learn to recognize individual potential and develop leaders who build and strengthen businesses and create more great jobs and great lives.

Minimum Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree plus two years of documented experience advising, coaching, mentoring, or working with people around their development using the CliftonStrengths assessment.
- Experience functioning in a leadership role.
- Experience presenting to large groups.
- Knowledge of the CliftonStrengths assessment and demonstrated ability to employ strengths-based methodologies.
- Demonstrated ability to use Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Canvas, and related programs.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Master's degree in business, student affairs or related field.
- Experience with student advising.
- Experience coaching entrepreneurs.
- Gallup Global Strengths Certification.

Posted Salary: $52,000/year minimum
