Job Description

The LMU-DCOM Assistant Director of Alumni Services work in conjunction with the Director of Alumni Services and CME and has responsibility for alumni relations, including engagement, communications, data updates and events.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree; and
  • at least 3 years experience in alumni services or a related field.

Job Duties

  • promote the mission of Lincoln Memorial University to all faculty, staff, students, alumni, and to the community at large;
  • promote effective working relationships among faculty, staff, students, alumni and community partnerships/stakeholders;
  • assist the Director of Alumni Services and CME in developing and managing the alumni services program for LMU-DCOM;
  • host events at professional meetings and plan alumni gatherings locally, regionally, and nationally;
  • assist with maintenance of the on-line community of alumni using iModules, including the alumni online job bank;
  • assist with maintenance of social media presence for alumni;
  • interact with current students to develop relationships prior to their graduation;
  • manage alumni database through Ellucian and Salesforce with most current information;
  • prepare alumni reports as needed for mailings, development outreach and assessment purposes;
  • collaborate with the Office of Career Services to successfully transition graduates to alumni by providing services to current students, including the Alumni/Career Services Seminar Program and the MATCHMaker Mentorship Program;
  • develop and maintain alumni services for associated programs under LMU-DCOM, including, but not limited to, OTD and DPT;
  • other duties as assigned.
