Job Summary
This role is responsible for planning, implementing, and directing offensive strategies for UTSA Football. The position requires strong leadership, strategic expertise, and collaboration with the head coach and staff to achieve program goals.
Core Responsibilities
- Assist Head Coach in recruiting prospects as assigned by head football coach.
- Make in person evaluations.
- Host on-campus recruiting visits as assigned.
- Make presentations to local and national groups promoting UTSA and UTSA Football.
- Assist with on-field coaching, game preparations, scouting of opponents, and monitor student-athlete progress.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree from accredited institution.
- Three years football experience as a collegiate player, collegiate coach, or high school coach.
- This position requires the ability to maintain the security and integrity of UT San Antonio and its infrastructure.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's Degree.
- Three years of offensive coaching experience as either an offensive coordinator or offensive positions coach.
- Knowledge of NCAA, American Conference, and UTSA rules and regulations.
Working Conditions
Working Environment:
Evenings, weekends, and holidays are standard.
Frequent travel.
Physical Demands:
Medium: Up to 50lbs - Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
This position will work primarily on campus. Travel and parking expenses are the employee's responsibility.
