Salary Scale: $125,000 to $141,000 (Dependent upon qualifications)
Position:
The Department of Management at California State University, Northridge (CSUN) is seeking a tenure-track faculty member in Management at the rank of Assistant Professor.
The successful candidate will teach courses in organizational behavior, management, and/or human resources management. The successful candidate will conduct programmatic research in organizational behavior, industrial/organizational psychology, or a closely related field.
Required Qualifications:
- Ph.D. in Management, Organizational Behavior, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, or a closely related field. The doctorate degree must be from a program(s) accredited by AACSB International or ABET (or an equivalent accreditation). The terminal degree must be awarded by the date of appointment.
- Excellence in, or clear potential for, university-level in-person teaching and creating a student-centered learning environment.
- Evidence of, or clear potential for, publishing original research in organizational behavior, industrial/organizational psychology, or a closely related field, in peer-reviewed journals.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Evidence of effective engagement or potential to engage with a diverse student body in and outside the classroom, which includes the use of culturally responsive pedagogy that leads to equitable outcomes for all students, inclusive approaches to mentoring, and facilitating student research.
- Evidence of, or clear potential for, integrating AI and digital technologies in approaches to classroom instruction.
- Evidence of, or clear potential for, contributing to supportive and collaborative work environments, including via collaborative research relationships with current faculty.
- Potential to take on leadership roles in the Department, College, and University.
- Evidence of, or clear potential for, securing funded work through contracts, grants, and self-supporting programs.
