Assistant Professor In Regenerative Engineering and Medicine
Job Summary
The position involves conducting research and education in Regenerative Engineering & Medicine, focusing on regenerative biology, immuno-engineering, or biomechanics and physics-informed data-driven modeling. The role is within the Cluster Regenerative Engineering & Materials (REM) in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at Eindhoven University of Technology.
Responsibilities
Establish a new research direction in Regenerative Engineering & Medicine; conduct frontier research aligned with engineering requirements; teach and improve courses for BSc, MSc, and PhD programs; supervise and mentor students; attract external research funding; build collaborations within the cluster, department, TU/e, the Dutch regenerative medicine ecosystem, and internationally.
Qualifications and Requirements
PhD in regenerative engineering, applied cell biology, biomedical engineering, mechanical engineering, or similar; strong record of academic achievements including high-quality publications, patents, or product ideas; ability to secure external funding; vision on teaching and learning; experience in teaching is advantageous; strong cooperation and interdisciplinary skills; ability to network with external partners; effective communication and leadership skills; proficiency in English, with Dutch preferred.
