Required Qualifications:

• Education: PhD; and/or MD
• Work Experience: Research related experience or interest in research in pain neurobiology and a commitment to an academic medical center.
• Skills: Ability to foster a research culture within the Department of Anesthesiology and to advance interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary research collaborations.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Education: MD-PhD
• Work Experience: Research related experience or interest in research in pain neurobiology and a commitment to an academic medical center.
• Skills: Ability to foster a research culture within the Department of Anesthesiology and to advance interdisciplinary and transdisciplinary research collaborations. Preference given to those candidates with preexisting NIH and/or extramural funding.

Job Duties Outlined:

• Develop active, collaborative research activities within the department.
• Seek out and collaborate with faculty on campus both within and outside of the department.
• Participate in University & Departmental Medical and Graduate teaching programs.
