Assistant Professor - Marketing (Multiple Vacancies)
The Zicklin School of Business at Baruch College, City University of New York, is seeking applications for two tenure-track Assistant Professor faculty positions in Marketing in the Allen G. Aaronson Department of Marketing and International Business, starting Fall 2026. We are interested in candidates whose research focuses on empirical modeling and/or marketing strategy. We prefer candidates whose research is substantively motivated and can showcase a research pipeline in that area. Possible teaching areas may include digital marketing, marketing analytics, and marketing strategy. Tenure-track faculty members are expected to engage in (a) high-quality research for publication in top journals; (b) teaching and guidance duties in area(s) of expertise; and (c) service activities and department assignments.
One of the largest accredited collegiate schools of business in the United States, Baruch College's Zicklin School of Business has earned a national and international reputation for excellence. It offers nationally ranked undergraduate programs, an MBA program, specialized masters’ degrees, and doctoral programs. The Allen G. Aaronson Department of Marketing and International Business has undergraduate and graduate majors as well as minors in Marketing and International Business. This includes an International Business major and a track in International Marketing, as well as a PhD in Marketing. The Department also offers courses for the MS in Business Analytics and the Zicklin MBA program. QUALIFICATIONS: Applicants must either have or expect completion of a Ph.D. in Marketing or related fields. We are particularly interested in candidates whose research focuses on bringing analytical/empirical modeling and/or marketing strategy perspectives to managerially relevant research questions. Applicants should be able to develop and teach courses in one or more of the following areas: digital marketing, marketing analytics, marketing strategy, advertising and marketing communications, at the undergraduate and graduate level.
COMPENSATION: $160,000 - $175,400; Salary commensurate with qualifications and experience.
