Assistant Professor of Business Administration/Law
Responsibilities:
- The incumbent would be expected to teach courses that would include, but are not limited to, Business Law required and elective courses.
- Instruct courses in varied locations, at varied times, and via various media commensurate with department and university needs.
- Engage in scholarly research or creative achievement to enhance knowledge of the field.
- Provide evidence of continuing preparation and study in the field to enhance teaching abilities.
- Contribute to student growth and development, including student advising.
- Provide service to the university and community, including the program, the department, the college, the university, and the greater community.
- Support Winona State University's mission to enhance the intellectual, social, cultural, and economic vitality of the people and communities we serve.
Minimum Qualifications:
- J.D. degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
- Demonstrated teaching effectiveness in business law courses or similar experience in teaching/training.
- Excellent communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Skills/ability to integrate technology to enhance learning and teaching.
- Demonstrated commitment to quality teaching.
- Demonstrated commitment to fostering a diverse working and learning environment.
- Evidence of scholarly activity in the form of publications and/or conference presentations at peer-reviewed business law journals or conferences.
- Relevant business law experience.
